Types and uses of steel coils

Steel coil is an important steel product, because of its good strength, plasticity, corrosion resistance and welding properties, so in the construction, machinery, petroleum, chemical, electric power, transportation and other fields have been widely used. The following are several common types of steel coils and their uses:

1, ordinary carbon steel coil:

Application: It is suitable for construction, machinery manufacturing, electronics industry with low requirements and no contact with corrosive substances.

2, high quality carbon steel coil:

6, high strength steel coil:

Uses: With high strength and good plasticity, it is mainly used for manufacturing parts and structural parts that need to withstand heavy loads and shocks, such as automobile plate springs, large crane hooks and so on.

7, electrical steel coil:

Uses: It has good magnetic and electrical properties, mainly used in the manufacture of electric motors, transformers and other electrical products of iron cores and magnetic materials.

8, other special steel coil: according to different uses and requirements, there are many special types of steel coil, such as free cutting steel coil, heat-resistant steel coil, wear-resistant steel coil and so on. These special types of steel coils have an irreplaceable role in specific industries and fields. For example, free-cutting steel coils are mainly used to manufacture fasteners and standard parts that need to be easily machined; Heat-resistant steel coils and wear-resistant steel coils are used to manufacture equipment and parts that operate in high temperature and wear environments, respectively.
