Ductile Iron Pipe

The graphite in ductile iron pipes exists in spherical form, typically with a size of 6-7. Quality requirements for cast iron pipes require a spheroidization grade of 1-3, with a spheroidization rate of ≥80%. This significantly improves the material's mechanical properties, combining the essence of iron with the performance of steel. After annealing, the metallographic structure of ductile iron pipes is ferrite with a small amount of pearlite, resulting in excellent mechanical properties, hence the name cast iron steel pipe.
